What is this Place, and why am I here?

A steady stream of righteous outrage about politics and religion and everything else I'm not supposed to talk about in polite company, served with a generous sprinkling of profanity on top. I'm a white, cis, queer, pagan, currently-abled, non-neurotypical, lower-middle-class, polyamorous, feminist woman. This space is not intended to be a 101-level blog; I will use terms and concepts that are at the 201 or higher level of feminism/social justice activism, and if they're not familiar to you, do some googling or check out Shakesville's Feminism 101 series.

I love to hear from my readers. If you wish to elaborate, debate, commiserate, ask a question, or just show some love, leave a comment. All I ask is that you be polite, both to myself and any other commenters. Sexist, racist, ageist, ableist, or otherwise bigoted commentary and language will not be tolerated. There are plenty of places to display that kind of hate on the web; my blog will not be one of them. Comments displaying these features will be summarily deleted, as will comments whining about your freedom of speech. Repeat offenses will get you banned.
